Childcare choices is the new Tax-free childcare and is already in place.
It was launched in April 2018. It’s essentially a saving scheme – parents open an online account that is used to pay for registered childcare.
For every £8 paid in, the Government adds £2 up to £2,000 a year per child, of £4,000 for disabled children.
Tax-free childcare is currently only available to parents of children under the age of 4, or under 17 if the child is disabled.
