    Monday 29th October 2018:  A budget for hard working families, carers and grafters

    – Personal income tax allowance will rise to £12,500 from April 2019

    – £1 billion to help those on benefits transfer to universal credit over 5 years

    – £650 million for social care council budget

    – Schools across the country will get a share of £400 million

    – Pothole repairs will have £420 million

    – Small business rates are cut by a third

    – £675 million will be set aside to help rejuvenate our high street shops improving transport and turning empty shops into homes and offices
